Disadvantages

  1. No height measurement for the construction
  2. Gross figures
  3. Not as accurate compare with cubic content method

                         = 26 m2 

Area b = 3.00 m x 3.00 m

= 9.00 m2

porch = ½ ( 3.00 m x 4.50 m )

= 6.75 m2

Total Area = 26.00 m2 + 9.00m2 + 6.75m2

= 41.75 m2

Price = Area x price / m2

= 41.75 x RM200

= RM 8350.00

Therefore the cost of the building = RM8350.00
